This Privacy Policy describes how CuriVara (“CuriVara,” “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit or use curivara.com and related services (the “Services”).
Notice at Collection
At or before the point you provide information (e.g., account creation, forms, onboarding), we collect:
Account information (such as name and email),
Profile information you submit (such as preferences and goals), and
Usage/device data (such as pages viewed and device identifiers),
to provide and improve recommendations, operate the Services, improve performance, and help keep the Services secure. We do not sell personal information for money. For details, read this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
A) Information you provide
We may collect:
Account information: name, email address, username, password (or authentication credentials), and account settings.
If you use login features provided through Squarespace membership tools (“Member Areas” or similar), Squarespace may process authentication and membership data to provide login functionality.We require your birth month and birth year to confirm eligibility (18+) and for analytics and relevance. We do not collect your full date of birth.
Profile & preference information: information you submit to receive recommendations (e.g., goals, concerns, sensitivity, routines, environment/habits, and other attributes relevant to archetype matching).
Content you submit: responses to quizzes, surveys, and any free-text fields.
Communications: messages you send to support or feedback you submit.
B) Information collected automatically
We may collect:
Device and usage data: IP address, device type, browser type, pages viewed, clicks, referring/exit pages, timestamps, and diagnostic data.
Cookies and similar technologies: for login/session functionality, preferences, analytics, and security (see Cookies section).
C) Payment information
We do not intend to collect or store credit card details unless and until we offer paid services. If we do, payments will typically be processed by third-party processors, and we may only receive limited transaction metadata (e.g., plan type, billing status).
D) Sensitive information
Please do not submit highly sensitive personal data in free-text fields (e.g., Social Security numbers, government IDs, full medical records). If you choose to share information that could be sensitive, you do so voluntarily and at your discretion.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
Provide the Services (create accounts, authenticate, deliver features and recommendations).
Generate and improve recommendations (archetype matching, outcome prioritization, routine suggestions).
Improve efficiency and performance (analytics, testing, debugging, product improvement).
Communicate with you (service messages, support, updates, policy changes).
Maintain safety and integrity (fraud prevention, abuse detection, security monitoring).
Comply with law and enforce our agreements.
3. Data Use for Recommendations
CuriVara generates recommendations using:
information you provide (e.g., goals and preferences),
observed usage signals (e.g., what you click or save), and
aggregated performance signals (e.g., what tends to work for similar archetypes).
Recommendations are informational. Outcomes can vary from person to person, and no recommendation is a guarantee. You should use your judgment and, where appropriate, consult a qualified professional.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only as described below:
A) Service providers
We may share information with vendors who help us operate the Services (e.g., website hosting, analytics, email delivery, customer support). They may use information only to provide services to us and must protect it.
If you submit information through Squarespace forms, submissions may be stored within Squarespace and made available to us through Squarespace’s tools.
B) Partners and integrations
Current status: As of February 17, 2026, CuriVara does not share personal information with partners for their independent marketing purposes.
If you opt into or use a partner integration, promotion, or co-branded feature in the future, we may share limited information as needed to:
enable the integration you requested,
measure and improve performance (preferably using aggregated or de-identified data), and
improve recommendation quality and operational efficiency.
C) Affiliate links
CuriVara may link to third-party retailers (including Amazon) using affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, CuriVara may earn a commission. This does not change how we handle your personal information as described in this policy.
D) Legal and safety
We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms.
E) Business transfers
We may share information as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets.
F) No sale of personal information for money
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. If in the future we engage in “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising (as defined in some privacy laws), we will provide required notices and opt-out controls.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to:

understand site usage (analytics),
improve security and prevent abuse.

update profile information in your account (if available),
unsubscribe from marketing emails using the email link.

If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. or other locations where we or our vendors operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will post changes with a new “Last Updated” date and provide additional notice if required.
